内容简介:
Renewable energy has become a $150 billion/year industry worldwide. In both 2008 and 2009, more renewable power generation capacity was added in the U.S. and Europe than all forms of conventional power generation combined (gas, coal, nuclear). Even so, China is now eclipsing both the U.S. and Europe as world leader in renewables. Over 80 countries around the world now have policies to promote renewable energy, many of those policies newly enacted in the past 5 years. Eric Martinot will discuss global trends, what countries are doing to support renewable energy, and China's position and role in that global landscape.
