主讲人简介:
Zheng Yang is a Ph.D candidate in Public Administration at North Carolina State University, U.S.A. She has been a member of the Firechasers project at NC State University, studying inter-agency coordination and communication during large wildfires. She has also been working for the Collaborative Partnerships Mapping Project to study what explains partnership influence and effectiveness. Before coming to the program, she received both her B.A. and M.A. in Public Administration from Beijing Institute of Technology. She has worked as an intern consultant in Progress Strategy Consulting Co., one of the biggest consulting companies in China. She also has years of working experience in TAL Education Group as a part-time English teacher for K-12 students. She is currently working as a teaching assistant for the course of Management System and Research Methodology of Political Science at NC State. Her current research interests include collaboration and networks, performance management, and comparative studies between Chinese and American administrative systems.
内容简介:
题目1:Healthy Carolinians project started on spring in 2012 and aimed at examining the networks of public health partnerships in three counties in North Carolina State. This study investigates the structure and consequences of connections between different collaborative partnerships within a single community that are linked together via member interlocks. By collecting comprehensive membership data from 62 health-oriented partnerships in North Carolina, this paper was able to document connections across partnerships via shared members. The focus of this study is to investigate the effect of partnership's network position on a partnership's influence within the broader community network.
