    Dr. Ye Zhisheng is an Assistant Professor in Industrial & Systems Engineering, National University of Singapore, Singapore. He received the B.Eco. in Economics, July 2008, Tsinghua University, Beijing; B.Eng. in Material Science & Engineering, July 2008, Tsinghua University, Beijing; Ph.D. Industrial & Systems Engineering, May 2012, National University of Singapore. His research interests are mainly in reliability modeling, statistical reliability data analysis, etc. The following five papers are his selected publications recently. 1. 内容介绍:

   Degradation studies are often used to assess reliability of products subject to degradation-induced soft failures. They are also important tools for risk assessment of emerging contaminants (ECs), a new environmental threat due to the increasing consumption of newly synthesized compounds. Motivated by degradation test on some ECs, the main purpose of this work is to construct confidence intervals for some important quantities that reflect the risk of the ECs. Risk assessment of each individual EC is often done through a competition experiment. This results in a two-dimensional degradation process. On the other hand, water treatments need to deal with degradation of several ECs in the waters. Therefore, we will investigate interval estimation for multivariate Wiener processes. Block effects in the degradation tests will also be considered.
