On the evening of November 17th, the Lecture Hall (2021 Issue 53) was honored to invite Associate Professor Jia Ning from School of Economics and Management of Tsinghua University to give an academic report titled "Business Intelligenceand Real Earnings Management". Affected by the epidemic, this report was conducted online. Teachers and graduate students from the School of Management and Economics attended the report.

In the report, Ms. Jia introduced the theme of the report: Business intelligence and real earnings management based on the new trend of current interdisciplinary research and the change of the positioning and value of accounting. Janin teacher research starting from the practical problems found in the practice of enterprises, in the field of accounting and management information system of cross analysis verified the adoption of business intelligence can lead to a real earnings management, namely the application of the new technology and new software such as business intelligence in the positive impact to company at the same time, there may be some potential problems, Let us have a deeper understanding of the business value of using advanced business software in the enterprise.

After the report, Ms. Jia discussed relevant academic issues with the participating teachers and students. Her rigorous style of study and profound knowledge were praised by the participating teachers and students. I hope to have offline communication and learning with the teachers after the epidemic.

About Associate Professor Jia Ning:

Jia Ning is an associate professor and doctoral supervisor at School of Economics and Management, Tsinghua University. He holds a PhD degree from Stanford Business School. He is a national accounting leader in the Ministry of Finance. He is also the director of the Center for Chinese Enterprise Globalization at Tsinghua University.
