Workshop on Energy System Modeling and optimization held successfully

At 10:00 on December 11, 2018, at the invitation of Associate Professor Zhang Yuli from the School of Management and Economics, Beijing Institute of Technology, Dr. Ye Xianming and Dr. Zhang Lijun, Senior Lecturer, University of Pretoria, South Africa, Dr. Wu Zhou, Professor of Chongqing University, and teachers and students of the School of Management and Economics conducted academic exchanges and discussions on the theme of energy system modeling and optimization in the main building room 216 of Beijing Institute of Technology. The purpose of this workshop is to improve students' understanding and understanding of complex energy systems, enhance academic interest, and expand their academic horizons.

Dr. Ye Xianming gave a report entitled “Energy efficiency and demand side management (EEDSM) by energy modelling and optimization”, to introduce the method of EEDSM using the case of optimization modeling of photovoltaic solar power system.

Dr. Zhang Lijun's speech topic is “Control engineering perspectives of vehicular dynamics and energy systems”. He introduced the research background, electric vehicle energy system design and optimization, and optimal capacity optimization.

Dr. Wu Zhou conducted academic exchanges on modeling, optimization and game issues in building energy efficiency. The research background of building energy-saving problem and the intelligent optimization of Nearest Neighbors Algorithm were introduced in detail, and the design problem of crowd-sourcing mechanism was discussed in depth from the perspective of game theory.

The teachers and students of the SME and three keynote speakers discussed in depth the issues of energy system modeling and analysis, electric vehicle service network operation management and optimization, and photovoltaic solar system design and optimization.
