On the afternoon of March 20, 2019, at the invitation of the Accounting Department of the School of Management and Economics, Associate Professor Limei Che of the University of South-Eastern Norway gave an academic report entitled "Industry Specialist Audit Teams and Audit Production" in the classroom 406 of the Graduate Building. The accounting department teachers, entire doctoral students and some master students attended the seminar. The study used the unique internal data of audit firms to test the industry expertise at the audit team level. Using the audit hours and team efforts, the study analyzed the role of industry expertise in the audit team in the audit report. The results show that audit teams with industry expertise are more costly because of more effort and higher compensations. This research complements the role of industry expertise lack in existing research. During the speech, Teacher Che had a lively interaction with the classmates and the speech was a complete success.
