Chen Yunsen is currently the vice dean of the Graduate School of Central University of Finance and Economics, a professor and doctoral supervisor of the School of Accounting, and the winner of the 2020 Young Changjiang Scholars of the Ministry of Education. Selected into the National Accounting Leading Talent of the Ministry of Finance, the first batch of Longma Scholars-Young Scholars, the first PricewaterhouseCoopers Strategy Young Scholars and other talent programs. Academic publications in Journal of Accounting and Public Policy, Journal of Business Finance and Accounting, Journal of Corporate Finance, Economic Research, Management World, Economics (Quarterly), Financial Research, Accounting Research and other academic journals, and policy articles appear in financial media such as Caijing, China Securities Journal, and Economic Observer. With the purpose of focusing on Chinese issues and telling Chinese stories well, from the perspective of the capital market, it discusses how to seek scientific research issues from practice. Specifically, it systematically describes what is a scientific research problem in practice, how to discover a scientific research problem in practice, the transition from a practical topic to a scientific research problem, the key points of practice-based scientific research, and the possible challenges of practice-based research.
