Lighting up the charm of the intangible cultural heritages

Recently, the School of Management and Economics opened the "Intangible Cultural Heritage Week" and held a series of activities for "Lighting up the Charm of Intangible Cultural Heritages". In this event, Chen Fanggang, the fifth generation inheritor of Wu's intangible cultural heritage project, was invited to appear at the first Academy Community Culture Festival of Beijing Institute of Technology with the intangible cultural heritage, bringing the stories of Beijing embroidery  into the campus and lighting up the charm of intangible cultural heritage on the tip of the needle.

"Inheriting the intangible cultural heritages, telling Chinese stories well, and carrying forward the fine traditional Chinese culture are vivid practices of SME students to practice the 'red education road'. The first Party Branch of undergraduates of the School of Management and Economics will carry out the 'Red 1 + 1' series of joint construction activities with the Party branch of Nantangmei Village, Baihe Town, Tang County, to inherit the intangible cultural heritage and help rural revitalization."Said Peng Mingxue, deputy secretary and vice Dean of the School of Management and Economics.
