The Seminar on Industrial Digital Transformation and Innovation Management Successfully Held

On the afternoon of January 5, 2024, the "Seminar on Industrial Digital Transformation and Innovation Management" was successfully held at the main building of the Zhongguancun Campus of Beijing Institute of Technology. Guided by the Chinese Society of Information Economy and hosted by the School of Management and Economics at Beijing Institute of Technology, the seminar aimed to explore industrial digital transformation and innovation management, promoting industrial digital transformation in fields such as healthcare, manufacturing, and rural revitalization, and fostering innovation management in these areas. The seminar was chaired by Wang Liu'an, Associate Professor at the School of Management and Economics, Beijing Institute of Technology. Distinguished guests including Xie Kang, President of the Chinese Society of Information Economy; Yan Zhijun, Party Secretary of the School of Management and Economics; Zou Bo and Xu Wei, Vice Secretaries-General of the Chinese Society of Information Economy; Niu Donglai, Director of the Committee on Digital Economy Research and Promotion of the Chinese Society of Information Economy; Hao Jinxing, Vice Dean of the School of Economics and Management at Beihang University; Zhai Yunkai, Dean of the School of Management at Zhengzhou University; and Liu Shan, Vice Dean of the School of Management at Xi'an Jiaotong University, attended the conference, along with faculty members and graduate students from the school.

Initially, the host Wang Liu'an introduced the guests and faculty members. Xie Kang, President of the Chinese Society of Information Economy, delivered the opening speech, thanking the School of Management and Economics at Beijing Institute of Technology for organizing the conference and expressing high expectations for subsequent academic discussions and exchanges. Yan Zhijun, Party Secretary of the School of Management and Economics, extended a warm welcome to the attendees and expressed sincere gratitude to the experts for their academic reports. He also highlighted the efforts and achievements of Beijing Institute of Technology in industrial digital transformation and innovation management, looking forward to future cooperation and exchanges with the experts in this field.

Following the opening remarks, four experts delivered keynote speeches. Zou Bo, Professor at the School of Management of Sun Yat-sen University, shared insights on the collaborative innovation mechanisms between humans and AI, summarizing research on AI's scenario-based innovation in practical backgrounds and business contexts. Zhai Yunkai, Dean of the School of Management at Zhengzhou University, introduced the exploration and practice of healthcare technology innovation from the perspective of remote healthcare to clinical big data analysis, summarizing the starting points and results of current research. Yi Famin, Professor at the School of Economics and Management of South China Agricultural University, shared on the mechanism through which local platforms promote institutional logic transformation and drive digital agricultural transformation via business model innovation. Liu Shan, Vice Dean of the School of Management at Xi'an Jiaotong University, shared on the new model of industry-academia-research integration and digitalization practices. The seminar concluded with lively discussions between the attendees and experts on the content of the keynote reports.
