From April 15 to April 16,2023, the Party branch of the School of Management and Economics carried out a party history study of "Retracing the 1st CPC Congress road, Inheriting the Soul of the Red Boat". They went to Jiaxing to pay respects to the red boat, feel the spirit, and then went to Shanghai to recall the years and retouch the history.
The red boat carries the fire, and the spirit starts a prairie fire. On the morning of April 15, party members, probationary members and activists took a boat to pursue the "1st CPC Congress" road and visit the Nanhu Revolution Memorial Hall. The South Lake in Jiaxing, as an important site of the Communist Party of China, is a symbol of the origin of the Chinese revolution. In the place where the Communist Party of China set sail, they listened to the explanation and understood the thrilling process of the first Congress of the Communist Party of China, realized the profound connotation of the Red Boat spirit.
On April 16, party members, probationary members and activists visited the Shanghai 1st Congress meeting site and pay respects to the holy land of the revolution.
Subsequently, the branch visited the Anti-Japanese War Memorial Hall of Shanghai Sixing Warehouse. The memorial hall vividly reproduced the history of the eight hundred heroes through various display means. The west gable of the bullet holes also showed the process of the bloody war. The eight hundred heroes inspired the faith of the Chinese army and people in the Anti-Japanese War, and became a banner in the Chinese war of Resistance against Japanese aggression, explaining the indomitable spirit of the Chinese army and people.
The road of a hundred years is magnificent, and the red boat spirit has grown stronger over time. The centenary history of the Communist Party of China has been twists and turns. Our ancestors have endured on the road of the centenary history of the Communist Party of China. We should strive to learn history, increase confidence, and put into practice.
