Recently, a reviewing seminar on project "China's mid-long-term oil demand outlook and forecast model research" was held in Beijing. The project was undertaken by Beijing Institute of Technology Energy and Environmental Policy Research Center as a commitment to the National Energy Board. The project systematically studied the economic, environmental and market factors that affect China's future oil demand, and established a top-down and bottom-up forecasting method, and carried out the forecast of medium and long-term oil demand in China with industry and variety breakdown. From a number of angles, the project put forward the strategic planning implementation path and policy recommendations. An expert panel unanimously approved the project acceptance.
