Oxford Saïd Business School Professor Lectures

September 24, 2010 – Invited by the SME, Professor Raymond Loveridge from Said Business School, University of Oxford, gave a lecture entitled "Globalization, Multinational Corporations and National Systems". Dean Ma Ming, Department of Applied Economics, chaired the lecture.

 

  Professor Raymond Loveridge, under the background of economic globalization, analyzed multinational corporations and FDI data, compared vertical supply chain and network coordination structure, and concluded that the new international environment calls for strengthening the cooperation and communication between countries.

  The lecture lasted nearly three hours, and the venue was fully packed. After his presentation, Professor Raymomond Loveridge enthusiastically answered students’ questions. The lecture not only broadened the academic horizons of attending teachers and students, but also opened a dialogue between our school and the first-class foreign institutions.
