Associate Prof. YANG Lihua, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Gives Report

November 26, 2013, in the afternoon, at the invitation of the Department of Public Administration, associate professor Yang Lihua of Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics gave a report entitled " The development of pluralistic collaborative governance and experience in China" at the main building romm 216.  The report was hosted by Professor Li Ya. Graduate and undergraduate students from the Department of Public Administration participated in the report.
Professor Yang started from the multiple meanings of governance, introduced the plight of public governance, pointing out the significance and features of pluralistic and collaborative governance, current development path and the main problems faced. He then introduced the empirical research on the collaborative governance in prevention and control of desertification, discussed the experience and discovery in China.

Yang Lihua, Associate Professor of Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, doctoral tutor, Director of the Institute of Environmental Management and Sustainability Science, Associate Director of the School of Public Administration. Graduated from the School of Government, Peking University , China Center for Economic Research, the School of Public Affairs at Arizona State University , Department of Political Science and Public and Environmental Affairs, Indiana University ( Bloomington ), received Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Economics, Master of Management, Master of Political Science and PhD in Public Affairs. Published more than 60 papers in SCI and SSCI journals in English or Chinese, published two monographs, presided over a dozen of National Natural Science Foundation and other types of projects.
