October 18, 2013, in the evening, invited by the "China's reform and development forefront forum" co-organized by the Integration of the Two Development Institute and the School of Economics and Management, Zhang Xiang, the former Vice Minister of the Ministry of International Trade, and executive director of China International Economic and Exchange Center, gave a wonderful report entitled "Cultural soft power and international negotiations" at the Auditorium in Building 7.
Professor Zhang Xiang started from the "Shanghai Metro" international negotiations he personally presided over. Through one by one real, vivid, and exciting stories, he shared his actual combat experience in international negotiations and analytical understanding of international business negotiations. Meanwhile, Professor Zhang vividly presented thoughts and feelings on the cultural soft power in international exchanges, focusing on analysis of importance of cultural soft power in international negotiations. More than 300 SME teachers and students attended the report.
