August 30-September13, 2013, invited by the School of Economics and Management, Professor Harry Rothman, University of Manchester Business School Honorary Professor, University of Nottingham Business School professor, had a two-week visit and carried out deep academic exchanges with teachers and students in the Knowledge Management and Data Analysis Lab.

During the visit, Professor Rothman gave two lectures “Technology Assessment & the Unanticipated Consequences of Technological Innovation” and “Publishing High Quality Papers in Peer Reviewed Journals: Some Practical Tips & Advice. Professor Hu Ruifa, winner of the National Distinguished Young Science Fund, and some teachers and students attended the lectures.

Professor Harry Rothman has published a total of nine books and more than 100 articles and reports. The main research directions: technology assessment, scientific metrology, biotechnology, social policy and development issues and so on.
