July 12, invited by Beijing Institute of Technology School of Management and Economics Dean Professor Wei Yiming, Director of the Energy and Environmental Policy Research Center, the United States Adelphi University School of Business professor, Beijing Institute of Technology Xu Teli Distinguished Professor Huang Zhimin visited the Center and gave a special report entitled " the development and challenges of supply chain management ." Dr. Hao Yu hosted the report. The Center teachers and students participated in the lecture.

Professor Huang Zhimin explained in plain and humorous language the supply chain -related knowledge, "bullwhip effect " and other basic concepts, analyzed the game between suppliers and retailers. Through Wal-Mart's direct transit distribution strategy, B&G supplier retailer inventory management strategies, as well as Campbell Soup , Dell, Cisco, HP and other case study, Professor Huang described the development history of the supply chain and challenges , dialyzed supply chain management rules and skills.
