March 27, 2013, Professor Marcela Miozzo, University of Manchester Business School, started a two-week collaborative research visit to our school.
In the afternoon of March 28, Professor Marcela Miozzo made a report entitled "Open innovation management: in the field of industry and sci-tech, new innovative partnerships between universities". The report was hosted by Ren Huanglu, deputy director of the M & A Research Center.
On the morning of March 30, Professor Marcela Miozzo gave a presentation entitled "high-tech enterprises cross-border mergers and acquisitions and innovation outputs”. He introduced mergers and acquisitions innovation evaluation methods, and by six British biopharmaceutical company cross-border mergers and acquisitions case studies, the report vividly displayed the impact of cross-border M & A on innovation performance as well as local science and technology system.
