March 19, 2013, at noon, the School of Economics and Management held the first academic luncheon of this semester at room 418. Dr. Wang Ke, Department of Management Science and Engineering, made a presentation entitled Regional allocation of CO2 emissions allowance over provinces in China by 2020: A ZSG-DEA based analysis. Professor Yan Zhi-Jun, Department of Management Science and Engineering, hosted the luncheon.
In order to solve the problem of regional decomposition of the reduction targets of China's carbon dioxide emissions strength, energy consumption per unit of GDP and increase of non-fossil energy consumption in 2020, Dr. Wang adopted the improved zero-sum game DEA method, and proposed an energy-saving emission reduction targets decomposition model of efficiency priority with due consideration to fairness and operability. The model provides a reference program for the achievement of “40-45” target, and target decomposition at the provincial level.
