February 28, 2013, In the afternoon, Dr. Hao Pen, Eindhoven University of Technology, was invited by the Beijing Institute of Technology School of Management and Economics to give a lecture entitled "Optimization of an opportunistic maintenance policy for components under condition monitoring" at conference room 418 in the main building.  Professor Cui Lirong hosted the report.
Dr. Hao Peng first briefed his current research directions. He then introduced ASML's products engineering background, and a new optimization model for opportunistic maintenance policy, which greatly improved the reliability of ASML's products.
At the end of the lecture, the participating students and teachers started a lively discussion and in-depth exchange with Dr. Hao.
