November 29, 2012, the Fourth SME Young Scholars Seminar was officially launched, the event aims to provide a platform for the exchange of the latest research results, to demonstrate academic ability and academic direction of the young teachers, to enhance young teachers' sense of innovation, academic exchanges and cooperation, to improve the overall academic standards of our school, and to create a harmonious and progressive academic atmosphere.
The seminar established two rounds of assessment: disciplinary level and the school level.  Disciplinary assessments are held every week on a regular basis. As of December 18, the disciplinary assessment was held for four groups.
Each discipline will select representatives of outstanding young scholars to participate in the school rounds of assessment. Young scholars will then conduct more in-depth interdisciplinary exchange, and at the same outstanding young scholars will be picked.
