BIT Li Guo team publish latest research findings in UTD24 and FT50 journal: Journal of Operations Management publishes

Professor Li Guo (first author), School of Management and Economics of Beijing Institute of Technology, and Li Lin Ph.D. students have recently published their latest research findings “Green Supply Chain Management in Chinese Firms: Innovative Measures and the Moderating Role of Quick Response Technology” in the Journal of Operations, a top international journal in operations and management sciences. The research was carried by Professor Li's team in collaboration with Professor Tsan-Ming Choi of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Professor Suresh P. Sethi of the University of Texas at Dallas.

The classic supply chain management research points out that cost control is an important means to improve the performance of supply chain operation. However, as the concept of sustainable development continues to take hold, is the cost factor still the main obstacle to the practice of green supply chain management? By combining the empirical data of Chinese enterprises, the team of Professor Li Guo of Beijing Institute of Technology is the first to reveal that the key to improve the performance of green supply chain management is the external demand side, which is different from the traditional supply chain management.
