On December 5, 2019, the School of Management and Economics held “Serving as a New Person of the Times "(Phase II)  theme education in the Lecture Hall, Building 7, Zhongguancun Campus. Ms. Zhou Bingde, the former Vice-President of the China-News Agency, a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and the founding chairman of the Beijing Daluan Xiangyu Charitable Foundation, was invited to share the theme of "Inheriting the family style and promoting the red culture". Vice Dean Yan Zhijun and over 200   teachers and students participated in the event. The event was presided over by Peng Mingxue, deputy secretary and vice dean of the School.

　　Ms. Zhou Bingde, the closest junior family member to Premier Zhou Enlai, lived in the Western Flower Hall at the age of 12. Taking Premier Zhou's family style as the main line, Ms. Zhou shared the story of Premier Zhou's untold story in his life and work from six aspects, such as loving husband and wife, simplicity of life, distinction between public and private, consideration of affection and righteousness, non-specialization of relatives, national interests and love to the country and the people.
