December 4, 2012, Tuesday, at noon, SME held an academic luncheon at room 418 in the main building. Dr. Zhang Yixiang gave a report on “Employees energy-saving behaviors”. Dr. Zhang gave a detailed report on his progress on research in energy-saving behavior of employees. Dr. Zhang first introduced the background and importance of the research on staff energy-saving behaviors. He pointed out that employees are an important energy-saving body, but the existing literature paid little attention to these issues. In order to reveal the mechanism of staff energy-saving behavior, in-depth theoretical construct and empirical research are much needed. In addition, Dr. Chang described the relevant literature, focused on the social exchange theory, and elaborated theoretical model constructed. Finally, Dr. Chang described the approach to the study and future work arrangements.
