The Undergraduate Party Branch of the School of Management explores "BIT Spirit"

“Teacher Zhang Jingshou once participated in the creation of the school’s history museum. His live story-telling has made my thoughts resonate with the stories behind the exhibits. The exchange with the older generation of BIT people has made me more deeply aware of the spirit of Beijing Institute of Technology. The experience made me understand that as a college student member of Beijing Institute of Technology, I must play an exemplary role in leading the inheritance of the red gene and patriotic struggle." Li Mutong, a probationary member of the lower-grade party branch of the School of Management and Economics, shared his feelings. .

In the context of the school's comprehensive educational activities on the theme of “My Motherland and My Struggle”, in order to further strengthen grassroots party building and student party member education, the School of Management and Economics party committee carefully planned with the support of the school's research work committee, a party day activity. On the morning of May 24, all the student members of the lower-grade undergraduate party branch visited BIT History Museum to explore the“BIT Spirit. Zhang Jingshou, former deputy secretary of the BIT party committee, retired teacher Wen ZhongHui, and Liu Shiqi, former deputy dean of the Continuing Education College, were invited to visit the school history hall together, and recalled the glorious history of the patriotic struggle of BIT people. The education motivated the students to pass on the red genes.
