Zhu Fujin, a Ph.D. student of Beijing Institute of Technology, wins the Best Student Paper Award in the Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence

  

  The conference paper "Counterfactual Inference with Hidden Confounders using Implicit Generative Models" written by Zhu Fujin, a dual Ph.D. student jointly trained by the Beijing Institute of Technology's Knowledge Management and Data Analysis Laboratory and the Artificial Intelligence Research Center of the University of Technology, Sydney, won the Best Student Paper Award at the "Australasian Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence (AI2018)" held in Wellington, New Zealand, on December 11-15, 2018. It is reported that this conference has received a total of 125 submissions from global scholars. The research questions and methods of this paper have been well received by the conference review.
