Recently, Wang Xin, manager of the revenue management department of Air China brought to our students and teachers an academic report entitled "Revenue management cutting-edge issues”.
Mr. Wang Xin first described the importance of airline revenue management, day-to-day operations of the Revenue Management Department, including organizational structure, daily work and work division. He also highlighted the PROS revenue management system utilized by Air China, and demonstrated ticket booking and seat inventory control process in an international route using real-time data.
