In order to further strengthen the implementation of the “BIT Pilots” program, the School of Management and Economics recently specially sent admission reports to the key middle schools in Xiamen, Fujian Province, and brought the robotics team of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering to enter the middle school campus and launched a number of “Meeting BIT” campus open days. 

　　The “BIT Pilots” visited Xiamen Foreign Language School, Xiamen No. 1 Middle School and Xiamen Shuangshi Middle School respectively, and personally delivered the 2018 Beijing Institute of Technology admission reports; The “Meeting BIT” campus open day events were highly valued and warmly welcomed by the three middle schools. The event received strong support from the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and its innovative student team. It has just won two awards, “Best Creative Project” and “My Favorite Project” at the 11th National College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Annual Meeting. The special robot innovation team "Multi-function spider-like multi-purpose robot based on ROS system" enters the middle school campus, attracting many middle school students to watch the cool appearance, innovative ideas and powerful functions, conduct exchanges and discussions, or personally control the robot to feel the charm and happiness of the science and technology works. The teachers and students of the middle school participating in the event have forwarded and shared the feelings through the social medias, expressing their recognition of the technological innovation ability and talent cultivation work of Beijing Institute of Technology.
