Beijing Institute of Technology - Camphor Economist Circle (CEC) Workshop Successfully Held

  On September 22, 2018, the Center for Econometric Methods and Data Analysis of the School of Management and Economics of Beijing Institute of Technology and hosted the 12th Camphor Economist Circle (CEC) Workshop. Nearly 80 professors, experts and graduate students from Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China, Nankai University, Institute of Finance and Economics of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, China University of Political Science and Law, Sichuan Agricultural University attended the seminar. The meeting was chaired by Associate Professor Zhang Lingxiang from the School of Management and Economics.

  

  This workshop reported and exchanged six working papers, aiming to keep abreast of the latest academic research trends in applied economics and strengthen academic exchanges and cooperation between economists. The experts and scholars attending the conference on the short-term impact of industrial robots on the performance of the company, the impact of innovation subsidies on innovation performance, human capital structure and economic growth, cultural capital and education investment, network car acquisition theory, political incentives, competition-driven and capacity expansion, etc. The topics were thoroughly communicated.

  The reports were rich in content, and the participants had in-depth exchanges and discussions, and the atmosphere was warm. Beijing Institute of Technology – CEC Workshop was successfully held.
