Singapore Management University Information School visits

  On the afternoon of September 26, three teachers from the School of Information Management of Singapore Management University (SMU) visited our school. Professor Yan Zhijun, Associate Dean of the School of Management and Economics, Associate Professor Lu Xin, Director of the Center for Scientific Research and Academic Exchange, and Director Jia Xiaowei, Deputy Director of the Graduate Teaching Center attended the welcoming ceremony.

  

  At the meeting, the teacher from the School of Information Management of Singapore Management University gave a brief introduction to the situation of the school and the development in recent years. It focuses on its Master of Business Information Technology (MITB) program, which mainly includes three directions: financial technology and analysis, artificial intelligence, and analytics. Vice Dean Yan Zhijun briefly introduced the situation of discipline setting and personnel training in our school. The two parties discussed the direction of possible future cooperation.

  College Profile: Singapore Management University (SMU) was formally established on January 12, 2000. It was funded by the Singapore government and approved by the Singapore Parliament to allow and recognize the degree it confers. The new university is supported and recognized by the Singapore government. In the latest QS World University Rankings, its MITB project ranks first in Asia and 11th in the world.
