March 7, 2012, 16:00 pm, Professor Luo Hong from the School of Accounting, Southwest University of Finance gave an academic report entitled "Norm Construction and China’s Finance and Accounting Reform Motives" at Room 418 in the main building. Teachers and graduate students from the Accounting Department attended the lecture. Professor Luo explained in detail norm construction and accounting reform process since the reform and opening up, the financial system construction and the financial reform process, norm construction motivations in retrospect and prospect.
Speaker Profile:
Professor of the School of Accounting, Southwest University of Finance, doctoral tutor, director of the Accounting Research Institute, the national leader and reserved talents in accounting academics, Sichuan provincial academic and technologic leaders. Graduated from Central South Institute of Technology, Zhongnan University and Jinan University, received the Bachelor, Master and Doctorate of Accountancy. Mainly engaged in research on corporate governance, finance and accounting issues in capital markets. Published five monographs or translations, three textbooks, over 80 academic articles in the “Management World, "Accounting Research" and other journals. Presided over two National Social Science Foundation projects, and five provincial projects. Received Sichuan Province Philosophy and Social Science Research Excellence Award, Outstanding Paper Award of the Accounting Society of China, and Li ShiBai Award for outstanding achievements in scientific research.
