Recently, at the invitation of the School of Management and Economics, Prof. Dušan Mramor, former Minister of Finance of Slovenia, visited our institute and was appointed as a member of the Development Strategy Committee of the School of Management and Economics. Dean Wei Yiming presented the letter of appointment. Vice Dean Yan Zhijun, Professor Tang Junjun, Associate Professor Lu Xin, Director of the Center for Scientific Research and Academic Exchange, and some teachers and students attended the ceremony.

　　During his visit, Professor Dušan Mramor has served as a special guest of the “100 Lecture Forum” and a guest lecturer of the School of Management and Economics to bring two wonderful academic lectures to the teachers and students. Professor Dušan Mramor served as the Minister of Finance of Slovenia for two sessions (2002-2004, 2014-2016). He is currently Vice Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Slovenian Prime Minister and Professor of Finance at the School of Economics of the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. He has great influence in the academic circles and the industry. He has served as a member of the Slovenian National Bank Council, the chairman of the Slovenian securities market, the Slovenian Minister of Finance and the Chairman of the Commercial Bank, and played an active role in the transformation of Slovenia.
