In December 2017, the Energy and Environmental Policy Research Center of the Beijing Institute of Technology launched the “Survey on winter heating status of households in the northern region” to conduct surveys on household heating, heating quality, and heating capacity in northern China. At present, the field surveys in 38 counties in 12 provinces have been successfully completed, and a number of microscopic data have been formed.

　　After the training, more than 30 students from the School of Management and Economics of Beijing Institute of Technology and some other colleges actively participated in the survey. The survey is also part of the social practice of undergraduate winter vacation social practice at the School of Management and Economics. The investigation work has received strong support and assistance from the college student working group, local residents, and some grassroots organizations.
