December 16, 2011, invited by Dean Professor Yiming Wei, Professor Zili Yang from the SUNY at Binghamton had a two-week academic visit to our Energy and Environmental Policy Research Center. During the visit, Professor Zili Yang made two academic reports on December 17 and 24, respectively, at room 345 of the main building. More than 50 teachers and graduate students attended the lecture.

Zili Yang, Ph.D. in Economics, Yale University (1993), now Professor of Economics of SUNY Binghamton campus. Worked in Tsinghua University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Pennsylvania State University and other universities. Mainly engaged in resource and environmental economics, energy economics, economic modeling, application of game theory, China's economic research. Completed a number of research projects sponsored by U.S. Department of Energy. Developed the world's leading integrated climate economy model (RICE) in collaboration with Professor William Nordhaus. Published nearly 20 papers In prestigious journals such as American Economic Review. Papers have been cited more than 200 times (SSCI). Won the 1997 Energy Journal Best Paper Award. U.S. National Science Foundation, IPCC report reviewer.
