November 29, 2011, Tuesday 12:00-13:30, Department of Applied Economics and Management hosted the SME weekly academic luncheon. HongXia Wang visited Georgetown University School of Business for one year. She first analyzed the current U.S. economic situation, briefly introduced the university, and then what she had gained during the visit. Georgetown University, located in Washington, DC, takes its unique geographical advantages, and attaches great importance to political and industrial ties.

Wang, HongXia, female, born in Shaanxi Xi'an. Received Ph.D. in Economics from University of International Business and Economics. July 2010-July 2011, visited Georgetown University Business School. Currently Associate Professor of the School of Management and Economics. Principal or co-investigator of several research projects sponsored by the Ministry of Education, Natural Science Foundation, and Social Science fund. Published several articles in core journals and international conferences.
