Good News: SME Students win the second place in the global Finals of the 14th ERPsim International Challenge!

The 14th ERPsim International Challenge was held online from June 16-17,2022. A total of 21 teams from 17 countries, including the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada and France, participated in the competition. The team of Beijing Institute of Technology (team members: Yin Qin, Wang Ziyuan, Hao Wenting, Li Jiaolian, Sun Huihui) guided by Yin Qiuju won the second place in the global finals after winning the first place in the National Competition in 2021!

The ERPsim Challenge performs enterprise operations and competitive simulation through virtual market environments (including market simulation and time simulation, and automated operations for management tasks). Participating student team act as corporate decision makers and simulate operating a company. The process will involve demand forecasting, procurement, manufacturing, sales, inventory management, financial analysis and other business activities. Students need to dynamically observe the real-time business data generated during the process of the competition, and conduct the analysis to make business decisions, so as to ensure the maximum profit of the operation.
