On June 18,2022, the School of Management and Economics Alumni Lecture Hall # 34: South Africa’s Culture, Life and Opportunities was successfully held online. The lecture invited Zhao Donghui, head of China Minmetals Group, president of South Africa Alumni Association and 1988 alumni, to attend the conference and share his story. Vice Dean Guan Hong, Zhang Yi, Zhao Yu, deputy director of the Alumni Work Office, and more than 100 teachers, students and alumni attended the event. The event was hosted by Alumni Li Jia.

On behalf of the school, Guan Hong welcomed the teachers, students and alumni who participated in the activity, and thanked Zhao Donghui and the alumni at home and abroad for their support and attention to the school. She said that the two countries attach great importance to bilateral cooperation and common concerns in international affairs, and that the friendly and mutually beneficial cooperation between China and South Africa has brought tangible benefits to the enterprises and people of the two countries. I hope that through today's sharing, more alumni can learn about the risks and opportunities of South Africa's culture, living and investment.
