On September 9,2022, Professor Wang Zhaohua attended the academic review meeting on the 2022 National Outstanding Youth Science Foundation Project held by the Management Science Department of the National Natural Science Foundation of China in Wuhan. Academician Ding Lieyun, director of management Science Department of the Natural Science Foundation Committee, researcher Liu Zuoyi, deputy director, and Professor Xie Xiaolin, vice president of Huazhong University of Science and Technology attended the meeting.

Professor Wang Zhaohua reported to the participating experts the completion of the project assessment indicators, the main academic achievements and the research results, and the reviewers made a comprehensive evaluation of the project research report, and fully affirmed the completion and research results of the project. The project was awarded as "excellent" in both the final evaluation and the previous mid-term evaluation, which fully reflects the research significance and value contribution of the project.

The project of "Energy resources sustainable development management and policy modeling" was approved in 2016. Relying on this project, Professor Wang Zhaohua has published more than 60 papers in high-level academic journals at home and abroad and 3 academic monographs. The research has won the second prize of Beijing Natural Science Award and Natural Science Award of the Ministry of Education.
