The School of Management and Economics successfully holds the 6th lecture of "Graduate Education Reform and Innovation Lecture Series"

On April 25,2022, the sixth lecture of "Master Lecture Hall-Graduate Education Reform and Innovation Lecture Series" was held at 317 of the main building.Professor Huang Rui, professor of the School of Management and Director of the Scientific Research Department of Minzu University of China, gave us a teaching lecture entitled "Application of situational simulation method in Management courses". Dean Wang Zhaohua, Secretary Yan Zhijun, Vice President Zhang Xiang and more than 20  teachers of the school participated in the lecture online and offline. The lecture was hosted by Associate Professor Deng Jianwei.

In this lecture, Professor Huang Rui introduced the basic content, concept and application of the teaching method of scenario simulation method, and combined with his teaching experience in undergraduate and graduate students, took the course "Human Resources Curriculum Management" as an example to discuss the scenario simulation project and the use of management sand table.

Finally, Professor Huang Rui also analyzed the opportunities and challenges of the scenario simulation method in the future: Establishing special scenario simulation laboratory, increasing case construction, and establishing video case library while selecting second-hand cases. The participating teachers were all inspired.

After Professor Huang Rui's lecture, the participating teachers had an in-depth exchange with Professor Huang on the application scope of the scenario simulation method, how to improve students' learning interest, subject construction and other issues.This lecture is an important measure for the School of Management and Economics to further implement the deployment of the Deepening the Overall Plan of Education Evaluation Reform in the New Era, strengthen the ideological and political construction of graduate courses and educational reform and innovation.
