In accordance with the general strategic objective of BIT to establish a world-class state of the university characterized by its technological strengths, the Department has capitalized on the prominent management disciplinary advantages of the School of Management and Economics and the eminent information technology and data background of BIT. Oriented by the new environment of information technology and the urgent demand of talents, the Department has innovated constantly in improving its teaching level and research capacity to cultivate more excellent candidates. In 2018,16 of 26 graduates continued their further studies in famous universities at home and abroad such as Cornell University, University of Rochester, The George Washington University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University and so on. Postgraduates tended to start their careers in securities, banks and military manufacturers, and doctors mainly worked as teachers in universities.
