【Mingli Lecture 2022, Issue 13】3-8 Dr. Ding Qing was invited to give academic report

On the morning of March 8, 2022, at the invitation of Professor Wei Yiming, Director of the Energy and Environmental Policy Research Center, Dr. Ding Qing from the Resource and Environment Branch of the China National Institute of Standardization gave a speech in the center titled: "International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Energy Conservation and Green Sustainable Financial Standardization "Progress" academic report, this report was chaired by Mr. Shen Meng, and teachers and students from the center participated in the report.

This report mainly introduces the origin, composition and working mechanism of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), as well as the latest progress of ISO standardization in the fields of energy conservation and green and sustainable finance.

Dr. Qing Ding's report was very rich and detailed, which aroused active questions and extensive discussions from the teachers and students of the center. In addition, the teachers and students of the center have further discussed with Dr. Ding Qing about the relevant standardization research work being carried out by the center, and the participants benefited a lot from it.

The speaker, Dr. Qing Ding/Associate Researcher, works in the Resources and Environment Branch of China National Institute of Standardization, mainly engaged in standardization research in the fields of energy saving and low carbon, green and sustainable finance. Presided over and mainly participated in the formulation of more than 10 energy-saving and green finance fields including "Energy Management System Requirements and Use Guidelines" (GB/T 23331-2020), "Guidelines for Classification and Evaluation of Energy Efficiency Financing Projects" (GB/T 39236-2020), etc. As a core member, it participated in the development of the international standard ISO/DIS 14100 "Guidelines for the Evaluation of Environmental Criteria for Projects, Assets and Activities Supporting Green Finance". Served as a member of the National Energy Basic and Management Standardization Technical Committee Energy Management and Energy Conservation Assessment Sub-Committee (SAC/TC20/SC3), ISO/TC301 Secretary Support Team, and domestic technical counterpart contact; ISO/TC207/SC4/JWG1 Green Finance Joint Work Secretary of the Group, Secretary of ISO/TC207/TG1 Sustainable Finance Coordination Working Group, Secretary of ISO/TC322 Sustainable Finance Technology Committee Domestic Counterpart Working Group.
