Beijing Institute of Technology Business Administration dual degree undergraduate program was set up in 2004 for undergraduate students in engineering, science, literature, foreign affairs and law. Relying on the strong faculty and advanced teaching facilities of the School of Management and Economics, the program is committed to cultivating "+ management" high-quality complex talents. After more than ten years of development, it has accumulated rich teaching experience and achieved good teaching results.

Training goals

Based on the students 'deep natural science, engineering science and technology knowledge and humanities knowledge background, training high-quality compound talents who are equipped with the basic theory, methods and application skills, comprehensive quality and ability to solve practical problems in the field of business management, international vision, and innovation and challenge spirit to meet the needs of China's economic construction.

Training mode

The 3-year program focuses on the main disciplines of economics and management. Students will systematically study courses on management, microeconomics, accounting, marketing, international trade, operation management, business management decision simulation, financial management, financial management, corporate management, human resources management, economic law, applied statistics, innovation and entrepreneurship management, strategic management, project management .The minimum graduation credits should reach 50 credits, including 40 credits for theoretical courses and 10 credits in the practical training.

Graduation requirements

Through learning, students should acquire the following knowledge and ability: master the basic principles of management, economics and the basic theory, methods and skills of business management; have strong oral and writing, interpersonal communication skills and analyze and solve enterprise management problems; familiar with the relevant policies and regulations of Chinese enterprise management and the practices and rules of international enterprise management; with an international vision and an innovative spirit, master the basic innovative methods and certain international exchange and cooperation capabilities; understand the theoretical frontier and development dynamics of the business management discipline; master the basic methods of literature retrieval and data query, with preliminary scientific research and practical work ability.

Diploma and Employment

This program grants a bachelor's degree in Management.

Graduates can be engaged in organizational strategic planning and decision-making, human resource management, business operation and innovation management, marketing strategy formulation and implementation, project management, investment and financing management and other work in various enterprises in high-tech industries, manufacturing and services, as well as government and public institutions.

Prospective students and enrollment process

Prospective students: recruit freshman students from engineering, science, arts, foreign affairs and law majors (except students from the School of Management and Economics).

Enrollment process: In June every year, students apply for online registration on the dual degree management website of the Academic Affairs Office.After the registration, the School of Management and Economics shall conduct the qualification examination, and decide whether to organize the interview according to the registration situation.The admission list is announced from late June to early July, and classes will begin in September.
