Global Assembly of Joint Authorities for Rulemaking on Unmanned Systems (JARUS) 2020, chaired by our adjunct professor as Executive Chairman

October26-30, 2020, Joint Authorities for Rulemaking on Unmanned Systems (JARUS) ) 2020 Global Assembly was held in the form of virtual conference. For a week, JARUS Executive Chairman and Deputy Director of the National Air Traffic Control Regulatory Standards Research Center, Our adjunct professor Liu Hao presided over the conference. A total of 119 officials, experts and scholars from 35 national aviation management agencies, including the United States, the European Union, Russia, Japan and Canada, And Boeing, Airbus, Dajiang innovation, Shunfeng, Yihang and other domestic and foreign unmanned aviation industry representatives participated in the event to explore the rulemaking of unmanned aerial systems, promote global unmanned aviation safety, health, sustainable and coordinated development.

JARUS is a new type of international body formed by government officials of national aviation management agencies and national appointed experts. Through model rules, guidelines and recommendations, it promotes the coordination of global unmanned aircraft system regulation and promotes the development and innovation of global unmanned aviation.
