In an ordinary and slightly crowded office, there is standing a blackboard, three small tables into a conference table, four teachers sat around the table to warmly discuss issues, and a young teacher is writing on the blackboard "Operations Research Syllabus...". In the book “Development History of the School of Management and Economics", the old photo shows the 1990s school teachers work scene, and the young teacher writing the blackboard is Li Jinlin.

Li Jinlin believes that first-class talents rely on in-house training on the one hand, on the other hand, we have to spend great effort to introduce new talents.Whether he attended the evaluation meeting or the academic exchange meeting, Li Jinlin seized every opportunity to explore and gather talents.In 2001, Li Jinlin went to the project review meeting of the National Natural Fund Commission. The outstanding performance of two young teachers, Zhu Donghua and Liu Yun, attracted his attention.Considering the academic background of the two teachers and the development needs of the school, he held a research meeting immediately after returning to the school, and spared no effort to start the introduction of the two young talents.
