Prof. Wolffried Stucky, Karlsruhe University, Germany, visits

August 17-19, 2011, Professor Wolffried Stucky, Professor Andreas Oberweis, Karlsruhe University, Germany, and Chairman Michael Flor, Karlsruhe Information Technology Research Center (FZI Organization), visited our school. On August 17, Professor Wolffried Stucky made a presentation entitled "House of Living". He reported on the latest research results, introduced the Karlsruhe University AIFB Institute of Research, its research direction and research mechanism, and described in details Karlsruhe University’s research-industry cooperation experience with major companies through Karlsruhe Information Technology Research Center (FZI).
During the three-day visit, the delegation met with Professor Ren-chu Gan, Assistant Dean Zhi-Jun Yan, , and HuiYing Gao and discussed further cooperation in depth . AIFB, University of Karlsruhe and the SME have a long history of cooperation. In last a few years, a total of nine SME teachers had three to six months of academic visit to the University of Karlsruhe and have published a number of papers in cooperation.
