On the afternoon of November 23rd, Professor Yao Yang from Peking University was invited to give a lecture on "Half Sky over China: Women's Political Participation and Sex Imbalances, 1950-1990" in the conference room133 of the main building. Professor Yao introduced the contents of his research work. A number of teachers and students participated in the academic exchange activities.
Professor Yao Yang's main research areas include the new political economy, China's economic growth under the conditions of openness and rural development. He has published dozens of academic papers at home and abroad. This lecture mainly introduces his research contents in cooperation with his doctoral students.
