July 12, 2016, Dr. Lee Chia-Yen of National Cheng Kung University was invited to visit the School of Management and Economy and the Energy and Environmental Policy Research Center, and made a report entitled “Data Envelopment Analysis for Effectiveness titled Measure and Marginal Abatement Cost Estimation in the Power System Industry”. A number of teachers and students from the CEEP attended the report. The report was hosted by associate professor Wang Ke.
Dr. Lee is associate professor of Chia-Yen University School of Manufacturing Information System, deputy editor-in-chief of Flexible Services and Manufacturing Journal, Semiconductor Technologies Empowerment Partners Consortium Co-principal investigator (PI) in big data analysis and optimization technology, a former engineer of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC). He received his PhD in industrial and systems engineering from Texas A&M University in the United States. Dr. Lee Chia-Yen's research direction includes productivity analysis, data science, intelligent manufacturing systems, and etc.. He mainly engaged in the application of dynamic optimization in energy and pollutants, semiconductor manufacturing, TFT-LCD manufacturing and other fields.
