Miss Li Zhuo, supervisor of Beijing Office, Association of Chartered Certified Accountants was invited to talk to SME students on career orientation and job-interview skills on March 30.
The audience was very much impressed on the history of her Association, intertwined with the development of accountancy, and the its ongoing program of Employment Capabilities on Showing Up aiming at helping young students better prepared for professional opportunities.
This Association, abbr. as ACCA, is a British accountancy body which offers the Chartered Certified Accountant qualification worldwide. It is one of the world's largest and fastest-growing accountancy bodies now with 131,500 members and 362,000 affiliates and students in 170 countries. The Institute's headquarters are in London with the principal administrative office being based in Glasgow. In addition, the ACCA has a network of nearly 80 staffed offices and other centres around the world. Its Beijing Office was opened this year.
