Japanese Professor Lectured at BIT

  Professor Tadashi Dohi from Horoshima University, Japan, has just given a speech at BIT entitled “Applications of Random Maintaining Model in Dependable Computing”In his lecture, he introduced a low-cost software fault-tolerating technique named software rejuvenation used against software aging, followed by listing several applications of certain software maintaining models based on this technique.

  Professor Tadashi Dohi majors in software/hardware dependability, software aging and rejuvenation, and hardware maintainability. In his current academic records a total sum of 176 treatises published internationally.

  During the visit, he discussed with BIT authority matters concerning future cooperation between the two universities.
