Meeting for Launching Employment Initiative and Sharing Career Setup Experiences

A meeting aiming at helping SME students who were enrolled in 2006 to search career opportunities was convened 10:00 am, Jan. 14 in the Graduate Bld. Over one hundred graduates-to-be were attending.

Three students who have just now successfully positioned themselves in the job market talked about their experiences, followed by another graduate to share his know-how on finding ways to continue studies abroad.

The keynote speech was given by Prof. Li Jinlin, who stressed the harsh situation in current job market, urgency for getting psychologically prepared, and the importance of mastering job-seeking skills.

The meeting was over with an encouraging announcement that an employment information platform, which has been developed by Mr. Wang Shijun, an SME student, is now available for all within the School to use.
