On the afternoon of May 14, 2015, Professor Alan Porter of Georgia Institute of Technology was invited to visit Beijing Institute of Technology Knowledge Management and Data Analysis Laboratory, and gave a report entitled " Science & Technology Analytics: Tech Mining for ‘Big Data’". The report is hosted by Huang Lu, a teacher working in the lab. Associate professor Jose Miguel Vicente Gomila from Valencia University of Science and Technology, Spain, and over 20 SME teachers and students attended the report.
